Reservation Policy

Reserving a Nubian Dairy Goat Kid

To reserve your Flumgummerie Farm goat kid, we require a $50 deposit in the form of cash, check, or money order. Your kid will not be held until the payment has cleared. We recommend not only a first choice but a second choice in kid in case we must keep a kid for our breeding program or in the event the desired animal is not born. We accept two doeling and two buckling reservations per doe. Reservations are first come, first served. Please make your reservations early! You may make checks or money orders out to:

You MUST send a deposit to secure your kid choice. We no longer reserve kids by word of mouth.
If for any reason you change your mind and no longer plan to purchase a Flumgummerie Farm goat kid, please let us know as soon as possible so we may move on to other customers. Deposits are NOT refunded if a customer opts out of the purchase, no matter the reason, so please be sure when sending in your deposit! However, deposits will be refunded if your kid of choice is not born and your reservation cannot be filled.

Once you are notified of the birth of your kid,  full payment is due within 10 days.

Kids will be ready to go to their new homes either weaned at 2 months of age or for those that want to bottle feed their kids, within 14 days of birth for a $50 discount. No kid will leave Flumgummerie Farm without full payment!

All kids will leave disbudded, tattooed and with registration paperwork. Even after disbudding scurs may still develop. Scurs that develop after leaving the farm are the responsibility of the new owners. Due to health concerns, kids CANNOT be returned once they leave the farm.  Kids leave the farm in good health so any illness/injuries incurred after they leave the farm are the responsibility of the new owners.

Goats are herd animals and we will not send a goat to a home where they will live alone.  There must be at least two goats kept together at all times. That means a doe with another doe or  wether and a buck with another buck or  wether.  We will occasionally sell wethers but they will not be tattooed and will not come with registration papers. We take great care in the animals we select for our breeding programs but the science of genetics is not perfect so, although I strive to produce quality goats I cannot guarantee any genetic traits of kids or how they mature. Much goes into producing great dairy goats including how they are raised to maturity.

If you have any questions regarding this information please ask. Thank you for your interest!

Blessings,
Michelle
